By joining a fraternity that was established in the Spring of 2017, new members of Stevens Alpha Phi have an incredible opportunity to directly impact the formation of our chapter and the Stevens Greek community as a whole. To be able to do so, all Alpha Phi officers are equipped with the knowledge to succeed by partaking in annual officer training. Additionally, officers have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others by meeting officers from other Alpha Phi chapters at one of four annual Leadership Conferences in February, or at Convention held every other year. Members are also able to receive instruction through Alpha Phi's Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI), a five-day training program for freshman and sophomore women to help them define their voice, identify their leadership characteristics, learn how to impact their chapter and their community. In addition, the Chapter Leadership Development (CLD) Program aims to give members the tools to be active followers and to cultivate an environment where our members learn how to be leaders.
The Kappa Delta chapter of Alpha Phi at Stevens encourages those who aspire to hold positions of leadership. There are dozens of leadership opportunities within our chapter at various levels of involvement. There will always be a place in Alpha Phi for those who desire to be a leader in their Greek community!
